Bosch und MEKRA Lang freuen sich über den CES 2019 Innovation Award in der Kategorie Fahrzeugintelligenz und autonomes Fahren für das 2018 vorgestellte Digitale SichtSystem

Die Jury der Consumer Technology Association honoriert damit die Mission beider Firmen zur stetigen Verbesserung der Sicherheit auf den Straßen weltweit.

Auf der IAA 2018 in Hannover vorgestellt, erhält das Digitale SichtSytem (DVS) von MEKRA Lang und Bosch nun den prestigeträchtigen CES 2019 Innovation Award. Das revolutionäre DVS ersetzt bei LKW die klassischen, großen Außenspiegel durch aerodynamisch optimierte Kameraflügel von MEKRA Lang und hochauflösende Monitore der Firma Bosch in der Fahrerkabine. Vorteile sind verbesserte Sicherheit, geringerer Verbrauch und höhere Ergonomie für den Fahrer. Als weltweit erstes System für LKW erfüllt das DVS alle Anforderungen an die funktionale Sicherheit (ISO 26262) sowie die gesetzlichen Anforderungen (UN/ECE-R 46) und unterstützt zusätzlich OEM-spezifische Einblendungen. MEKRA Lang freut sich über die Ehrung des in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Bosch entwickelten Digitalen SichtSystems und den Serieneinsatz in der dritten Generation des Mercedes-Benz Actros im Frühjahr 2019.
