FilmCommission MRN auf der Berlinale 2012

Ab heute trifft sich die weltweite Filmbranche zum 62. Mal bei den Internationalen Filmfestspielen in Berlin. Mit dabei ist auch erneut die FilmCommission Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar (FC MRN). Im Rahmen der Berlinale lädt sie gemeinsam mit der Film Commision Hessen/Hessische Filmförderung am Sonntag (12. Februar) zu ihrem traditionellen "Networking Lunch" in der Anhalter Bar des Mövenpick Hotels ein. Als Gäste sind angekündigt Schauspieler Matthias Schweighöfer ("Rubbeldiekatz") sowie die Filmproduzenten Dan Maag, Stefan Sporbert und Philipp Kohl. In einer Talkrunde berichten sie über ihre Erfahrungen mit Produktionen in Hessen und Baden-Württemberg. Ebenfalls zu Gast sein werden zahlreiche Vertreter von Sendern, Studios, Produktionsfirmen und Filmförderung. Insgesamt werden über 300 Protagonisten der nationalen und internationalen Filmbranche erwartet, die die entspannte Atmosphäre des Empfangs schätzen, um sich abseits des Festivaltrubels über ihre Projekte auszutauschen und mehr über die ausrichtenden Regionen zu erfahren. Im vergangenen Jahr entstand so beispielsweise der Kontakt zu einer Berliner Produktionsfirma, die ab Ende März für drei Monate zu Dreharbeiten für einen Fernsehfilm in der MRN Station macht.

Die FC MRN ist ein Projekt des Zukunft Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar e.V. Sie ist dezentraler Partner der Medien- und Filmgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg mbH und wird von dieser gefördert.
