Michell Instruments wird erstes Mitglied der neuen Industriellen Technologie Gruppe.

Process Sensing Technologies (PST) wurde gegründet, um sich als umfassender Anbieter von Messgeräten und Analysatoren zu etablieren.

Als wichtige Faktoren bei der industriellen Prozesssteuerung, garantieren unsere Produkte die Betriebssicherheit, erhöhen die Anlageneffizienz, minimieren den Rohstoffeinsatz und helfen modernen Unternehmen, jährlich enorme Kosten einzusparen.

Michell Instruments wird als Teil der PST auch weiterhin seine langjährige Tradition von Wachstum durch innovative Produktentwicklung verfolgen. Die zusätzlichen Ressourcen von PST unterstützen dabei gezielte Investitionen in Technologie und ergänzende Akquisitionen. Die Gruppe wird ihre Investitionstätigkeiten auf dem Markt der industriellen Mess- und Regeltechnik fortsetzen.

Michell Instruments wurde 1974 in Cambridge, Großbritannien, gegründet. Mit 40 Jahren Erfahrung und einer Fokussierung auf Feuchtemessung und Feuchtekalibrierung ist Michell Instruments heute der internationale Marktführer in diesem Bereich. Unternehmensziel ist die Entwicklung, Herstellung, der Vertrieb und Service von Feuchtemessgeräten, Taupunktsensoren, Feuchte-kalibriersystemen und Spezialequipment für die Prozessfeuchtemessung. Ein zweiter wichtiger Geschäftsbereich ist die Herstellung, der Vertrieb und Service von Sauerstoff-Analysatoren für Industrieanwendungen. Weltweit arbeiten an 10 firmeneigenen Standorten mehr als 200 Mitarbeiter für Michell Instruments.
Als einziger Hersteller deckt Michell Instruments den gesamten Messbereich von –120/+130 °C Taupunkt mit den eigenen Sensortechnologien ab. 1989 wurde Michell Instruments weltweit als erstes NAMAS (heute UKAS)-Kalibrierlabor anerkannt und erhielt wenig später die BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Zertifizierung.
