Neue Funktionen von Microsoft CRM 2.0 werden an verschiedenen Stellen den Prozess-Workflow erweitern. Dies betrifft beispielsweise eine weiterführende Automatisierung der Bereiche Marketing und Kundendienst. Zudem wird sich die neue Version in wenigen Schritten mit anderen Anwendungen und Datenquellen verbinden lassen. Hierzu stellt Microsoft neue Komponentendienste zur Verfügung. Zusätzliche Funktionen von Microsoft CRM 2.0 erleichtern unter anderem den Einsatz der Software in kleinen Unternehmen. Die Installation des Produkts wird weiter vereinfacht, so dass die Implementierung von Microsoft CRM in wenigen Schritten durchgeführt werden kann. Ziel ist es, die Installationsroutine künftig so zu automatisieren, dass sich die Produktsuite mit maximal fünf Clicks einrichten lässt.
Kundenfeedback im Mittelpunkt
"Die frühzeitige Einbindung unserer Kunden und Partner ist eine tragende Säule der Produktentwicklung bei Microsoft. Derzeit nehmen weltweit über 100 unserer ISVs (Independent Software Vendor) und Partner am Technology Adoption Program Release 1 teil. Es ist für uns wichtig, ihr Feedback aufzugreifen und in die nächste Version von Microsoft CRM zu integrieren, auch wenn das mit einer Verzögerung bei der Verfügbarkeit einhergeht", erläutert Frank Hassler, Leiter Produktmanagement bei Microsoft Deutschland.
Im Rahmen der Microsoft Pressekonferenz auf der CeBIT 2005 am 10. März wird das Unternehmen weitere Informationen zu der Roadmap von Microsoft CRM bekannt geben.
