From helmut.cloud to Avid Switch-ready – MoovIT has a wealth of stories to share at IBC 2024 in Amsterdam

The video/IT solution company MoovIT presents in Hall 7/A59 for the first time in Europe its helmut.cloud platform for independent workflow orchestration for the media industry in additon to new integrations for the Helmut4 project management toolset

(PresseBox) (Cologne, )
With the launch of helmut.cloud, the developers at MoovIT are following a logic that has been the guiding principle and success factor for all software products developed to date: the open design of workflows, the flexible integration capability of third-party systems and the greatest possible independence for customers in completing their tasks. ‘Build your own workflow’ is the concept behind helmut.cloud: a holistic platform for organising, creating, triggering, executing and monitoring workflows. For the first time, helmut.cloud gives video production users the freedom to design and control processes in line with their authorisations, requirements, priorities, capacities and framework conditions, and in collaboration with their team.

The well-established Helmut4 project management system for Adobe Premiere and After Effects, including the components HelmutFX, IO, Cosmo and Housekeeper, has been equipped with additional functions. Now, it also offers Avid Pro Tools integration for improved audio post-production, plus Avid iNews integration for newsroom applications. Thanks to the new asset search function in Cosmo, Helmut4 has additional options for performing tasks that would otherwise require a PAM. In conjunction with Helmut4, Adobe Premiere is an open and flexible solution that also enables the integration of social media and AI functions from third-party providers in the highly dynamic video production environment – all based on the workflow engine. With the new integrations, the door is wide open for anyone wanting to switch from Avid to Adobe.

MoovIT to present new and established products at IBC
At IBC, MoovIT will also be showcasing its RevApp review and approval tool. The tool has been developed together with customers, specifically to meet the requirement of being able to operate it on-premises – a key security consideration for many customers. RevApp is available as a stand-alone tool and in combination with Helmut4. It greatly simplifies the entire review and approval process for video content, both in-house and externally

Other focal points at the stand include the Vulcano graphics automation tool for automated and simplified collaboration between editors, graphic designers and editors, plus the video localisation solution TitleTool, which allows video content to rapidly be adapted for global communications. Both products optimise workflows and empower broadcasters and teams to collaborate effectively, in media production and across a broad range of industries.
