The MSC C6B-SLH COM Express™ modules can control three independent displays with up to 4k x 2k pixels resolution. Hardware-based graphics acceleration and video encoding/decoding have been significantly improved. The Type 6 pin-out includes DisplayPort 1.3, HDMI 1.4b and DVI as well as LVDS or embedded DisplayPort (eDP). With its wide range of modern interfaces the module offers 4 x USB 3.0/2.0 and 4 x USB 2.0 ports, eight PCIe x1 lanes, PEG x16, 4 x SATA, Gbit Ethernet, HD Audio, and LPC. The dual-channel DDR4-2133 memory with optional Error Correction (ECC) can be expanded up to 32 GB.
MSC Technologies delivers its powerful MSC C6B-SLH modules in numerous processor variants. Intel® Core™ i7-6820EQ, i7-6822EQ, i5-6440EQ, i5-6442EQ, i3-6100E, and i3-6102E with two or four CPU cores will be available. For cost-efficient solutions also the Celeron® processors G3900E and G3902E are supported. Depending on the processor type, Intel® vPro, Intel® 64, the Intel® Virtualization Technology (VT-x), the Intel® Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (VT-d), the Intel® Trusted Execution Technology, Intel® Advanced Encryption Standard AES-NI, and the Intel® Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 are supported. For very demanding applications, two high-end modules are available with quad-core Intel® Xeon® E3-1505M and E3-1505L.
The on-chip Intel® HD Graphics Gen. 9 supports DirectX® 12, OpenGL 4.4, and OpenCL 2.x. The integrated Infineon Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 offers comprehensive security features.
