Neues Datenübertragungsmodul für MC CombiTac

Das modulare Steckverbindersystem CombiTac von Multi-Contact ist um ein zusätzliches Modul erweitert worden: einen Steckverbinder für Glasfaserkabel zur Datenübertragung. Das neue Produkt wurde der Öffentlichkeit erstmals auf der Hannover Messe 2010 präsentiert und stiess bei den Fachbesuchern auf reges Interesse.

Glass Optical Fibre (GOF)
Neuer 4-poliger Steckverbinder für Ø 3mm Glasfaserkabel vom Typ Mono- oder Multimode.

Gebräuchliche Fasertypen:
- Gradientenfaser (GI): 50/125 und 62,5/125 m
- Singlemodefaser (SM): 9/125 m

Glasfasern kommen überall dort zur Anwendung, wo Datenübertragung erforderlich ist, z.B. in automatischen Prozessen und Maschinen, in der Medizintechnik Computertomographie), in der Bahntechnik (Kontroll- und Fahrgastinformationssysteme) und vielen weiteren Bereichen.
