New CombiTac direqt module: 1 mm x 21-Pole High Density

The new 1 mm x 21-pole high density module complements the range of signal modules for the CombiTac direqt. The modular connector is available with signal, high power, and data modules as well. This new high density module makes the CombiTac direqt portfolio more competitive in applications targeting high density signal applications, such as automation, testing, battery charging and general industry. The new carrier works with the 1 mm contacts, which already exist as part of the standard CombiTac direqt portfolio.

The main advantage of the 1 mm x 21-pole carrier is the benefit of space saving for high density signal applications. As CombiTac direqt is offered in standard frame sizes, this new module brings a great advantage to customers:
  • Space saving, by having a smaller frame size for high density applications
  • Overall cost savings, especially for housing applications as customers can choose a smaller housing compared to existing
  • Click and connect- faster installation times.
The contacts can be plugged into the carrier by the “click and connect” principle of CombiTac direqt series. After the user has crimped the cable to 1 mm contact, the contact can simply be pushed into carrier with a simple click.
