Following release of the KLARK TEKNIK DN200 DI box back in April, respected sound engineer Martin Mittler offered his thoughts on how the ubiquitous DN200 performed during Johnny Marr's tour in support of his new album The Messenger.
Martin developed his engineering ears by working with bands like The Zutons, Black Grape and Sir Paul McCartney. When gearing up for the road as part of Johnny Marr's latest musical excursion, the choice of which DI to go with was never up for debate.
"They're may not be the sexiest bit of equipment we take on tour with us," joked Martin, "but they're essential, sound great and they're 100% reliable. When you're on tour, it's good to have a piece of kit you can totally rely on." His final thought: "Oh, one last thing.any chance I can have another?"
The DN200 Dual-Channel Active DI box follows on from the highly successful DN100, and continues to deliver the connectivity and exceptional audio performance customers have come to expect from KLARK TEKNIK.
