Die Landesinitiative Nano- und Materialinnovationen Niedersachsen veranstaltet in Zusammenarbeit mit dem WIP-Kunststoffe e. V. sowie mit Unterstützung des BioRegioN am 14. März 2011 im Laserzentrum Hannover den Arbeitskreis „AK Verantwortungsvoller Umgang mit Nanomaterialien“.
Im ersten Teil der Veranstaltung stellen Experten aus Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft wie das VDI Technologiezentrum, BASF SE, das Fraunhofer-Institut für Toxikologie und Experimentelle Medizin, das Laser Zentrum Hannover, die Bayer MaterialScience AG und die KRONOS TITAN GmbH aktuelle Erkenntnisse im Rahmen von Impulsvorträgen vor. Im anschließenden Workshop werden aus aktuellen Fragestellungen Handlungskonsequenzen und Projektinitiativen abgeleitet.
Die Teilnahme steht insbesondere engagierten Wissenschaftlern, Anwendern und „Querschnittsdenkern“ offen und ist für Mitglieder des NMN e.V. und des WIP-Kunststoffe e.V. kostenlos. Für Nicht-Mitglieder beträgt die Teilnahmegebühr 80,00 Euro. Die Teilnehmerzahl ist begrenzt.
