Neue Version des NCP Secure Enterprise Android VPN Clients mit optimierter Benutzeroberfläche

Die NCP engineering GmbH hat ihren zentral administrierbaren Secure Enterprise Android VPN Client in der Version 2.33 um praktische Funktionen erweitert und bietet nun noch einfacheres und intuitives Handling für Benutzer sowie Erleichterungen für Administratoren.

Der NCP Android VPN Client zeigt jetzt im Notification Icon und im Widget zusätzliche Informationen wie den Tunnelstatus an, so dass der Anwender auf einen Blick den Status seiner VPN-Verbindung sieht. Zudem wurde die Importfunktion von Fremdkonfigurationen (.pcf-, .wgx-, .ini- oder .spd) noch weiter vereinfacht. Des Weiteren wurde die Konfiguration der High Availability Services (Load Balancing) komfortabler gestaltet, die insbesondere bei größeren Remote Access-Installationen eingesetzt werden.

Die Android VPN Clients lassen sich über das NCP Secure Enterprise Management (SEM) zentral verwalten. Dies hat den großen Vorteil, dass beispielsweise User-Konfigurationen und Zertifikatsverteilung durch den Administrator erfolgen und der Anwender selber nichts tun muss - ein wichtiger Aspekt sowohl aus administrativer Sicht als auch in punkto Sicherheit.

Ein großer Vorteil für Unternehmen ist aus organisatorisch, administrativer Sicht die einfache Beschaffung der NCP Secure Enterprise Android VPN Clients über die gewohnten Bezugswege im Channel.
