Mit dem Preis „Entdeckungen des Jahres 2007“ zeichnet Yahoo! die beliebtesten, originellsten und innovativsten deutschen Websites aus. Das Patienten- und Communityportal „DocInsider“, das Patienten und Ärzten eine Plattform für einen öffentlichen Dialog bietet, wurde gestern offiziell als Sieger in der Kategorie „Freunde im Netz“ (Web 2.0-Communities) bekannt gegeben. Die Entscheidung der Online-Experten-Jury basiert dabei auf Kriterien wie Relevanz, Funktionalität und Design des Web-Angebotes. Laut Oliver Sturz, Head of Consumer PR bei Yahoo! Deutschland, wurden die neuen Web 2.0-Ratgeber-Angebote mit einem klaren Nutzwert insgesamt besonders positiv bewertet.
Zum Einsatz kommen bei DocInsider modernste Technologien wie die dynamisch typisierte Programmier- und Skriptsprache „Groovy“ oder das Web-Application-Framework „Grails“. Helmut Hoffer von Ankershoffen, Geschäftsführer der neofonie, sieht in der Auszeichnung auch einen Erfolg für das eigene Unternehmen: „Hoch innovative Technologien einzusetzen, birgt immer ein gewisses Risiko.
