Individual Award: Martin Cooper, CTO, Arup Der Preis dieser Kategorie ehrt eine Einzelperson für ihre IT-Leistung in einer Organisation. Arup ist ein internationales Unternehmen für Planung, Design, Ingenieurwesen und Beratung mit Hauptsitz in London und steht als kreativer Kopf hinter zahlreichen bekannten Gebäude-,
Transport- und Ingenieurprojekten.
Finalisten: Ed Yee, ehemals Nvidia, jetzt Virgin Mobile, und Paul Hocking, FirstAssist
Humanitarian Award: Das Institute for Computing, Information and Cognitive Systems (ICICS) der Universität von British Columbia Das ICICS erhielt den Preis in der Kategorie Humanitarian für seine Forschung zu einem Paradigmenwechsel in der Informationstechnologie, der den Menschen in den Mittelpunkt stellt.
Finalisten: Arizona State University und University of Texas, Austin.
Technology Partner Award: Arkivio
Mit diesem Preis werden Service-, Infrastruktur- oder Applikationspartner für ihre besonderen Verdienste um NetApp ausgezeichnet. Arkivio ist auf Lösungen für das Information Lifecycle Management spezialisiert.
