Visitors had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with seven different apprenticeships and try them out. There was a lot on offer for the young people and their chaperones on the premises: guided tours were offered through the offices, assembly and production areas, pumps could be assembled using VR goggles or small bottle openers could be built with the current trainees. There was also plenty of opportunity to socialise with the current apprentices and trainers.
The children and young people and those accompanying them were more than enthusiastic about the training day. ‘The enthusiasm of the children and young people confirmed our initiative. Special thanks go to everyone who supported us and made this day possible for the second time in a row,’ says Barbara Wieser, who is responsible for training at NETZSCH.
