Like all banks worldwide, Kreissparkasse Düsseldorf wants to use digitization to improve its challenging business situation. Growing customer benefits and efficiency gains are the twin goals; exploiting the technical possibilities is the way. At the heart of every technical change, however, are the people who are to bring about that change. In a workshop for the board and second management level, the bankers were inspired by agile methods and thus gave their digitization process further tailwind. In keeping with Corona, the workshop took place outdoors and on foot at the end of August. But that was not the only special feature of this unusual conference, which was moderated by culture change consultant Uwe Rotermund.
