The order situation is pleasing. ODU is active in several markets, above all in medical, measurement and testing technology and in the security and military sectors. Emobility, automotive and industrial electronics also continue to be important growth markets. "We speak the language of our customers, look for short distances and are present all over the world," says Managing Director Denis Giba. ODU is focused on the future and the projects of its customers.
Last year, ODU was able to increase sales by more than 15% over the previous year to 200 million euros. ODU employs 2,300 people worldwide, 1,200 of them at its headquarters in Mühldorf.
"And should the trend continue to be positive in the coming months, we will make further investments", Dr. Woelfl is pleased to report. The 41 trainees added in September are expected to be supplemented by a further 54 new trainees this year.
