OC Development GmbH has been named as one of the TOP 100 in 2017, making it one of the most innovative medium sized companies Germany’s. Based in Prien/Chiemsee, OC Development GmbH is the innovation centre of oneclick AG. Already in its 20th year, the innovation competition TOP 100 is organised by compamedia. TOP 100 is the only contest, which recognizes innovation management and is the most important award for innovative medium-sized businesses. In the overall ranking of this year’s TOP 100 contest, the company responsible for the development of the oneclick™ Application Delivery and Streaming Platform even made it amongst the Top 10.
Five aspects of innovation management were analysed as part of the TOP 100 contest: a senior management enabling innovation, innovation climate, innovative processes and organisation as well as external focus and innovation success. The scientifically established innovation results show that OC Development GmbH is a company, which takes the topic "Innovation“ serious. When the average of the TOP 100 companies is rated an "A” in innovation management, then OC Development GmbH achieves the maximum possible rank of "A+“. The rating "A" is only awarded to companies, which demonstrate exceptional professional innovation management on an international scale. Companies with this rating set standards. There is also a very high probability of future innovation success.
Amongst the TOP 100 applicants were several world market leaders and "hidden champions“. Some were from traditional sectors and managed to establish a unique profile through their strong innovation. Others were from the high-tech sector or from completely emerging industries. These included manufacturing businesses or service providers. There were newly established companies or family-owned businesses, who had to, to some extent, reinvent themselves again over many generations.
