Wer ist Open Grid Europe und wie funktioniert eigentlich der Transport von Gas über weite Strecken: in einem ca. fünfminütigem Kurzfilm stellt das Unternehmen seine zentralen Aufgaben vor und präsentiert anschaulich, wie Gastransport rund um die Uhr funktioniert.

Unter dem Titel "Im Herzen des Gastransports" gewährt der Film Einblicke in die zentrale Steuerung des größten deutschen Ferngasnetzbetreibers. Von der Zentrale in Essen aus wird das gesamte deutsche Netz mit einer Länge von rund 12.000 Kilometern gesteuert. Im Ruhrgebiet laufen die Fäden zusammen und wird sichergestellt, dass das Gas von der Nordsee bis an die Alpen sicher transportiert wird.

Außerdem bietet Open Grid Europe ein umfangreiches Glossar für die Fachbegriffe aus der Gastransportbranche. Damit erweitert das Unternehmen sein Informationsangebot an interessierte Journalisten nach einem ersten Relaunch im Sommer um weitere Inhalte, um eine schnelle und unkomplizierte Recherche zu ermöglichen.
