Die OPEN MIND Technologies AG, einer der führenden Entwickler von CAM/CAD Software und Postprozessoren, stellt auf der 25. Design Engineering & Manufacturing Solution Expo DMS aus. Vom 25. bis zum 27. Juni 2014 zeigt OPEN MIND am Stand East 11-34 des Tokyo Big Sight die Version 2014.1 der CAM-Lösung hyperMILL®.

Das neue Release bietet zahlreiche Automatisierungsfunktionen für eine noch effizientere Programmierung. In der aktuellen Version wurde beispielsweise die Benutzerschnittstelle der Applikation "Single Blade" verbessert und vereinfacht. Die bewährte Methode zur Selektion der Geometrie und zur Automatisierung der Bearbeitung von Impellern und Blisks steht nun auch für Turbinenschaufeln zur Verfügung. Die Geometrieauswahl erfolgt jetzt zentral über ein speziell entwickeltes Feature.

Neue Werkzeuge, neue Strategien

Der Fortschritt in der zerspanenden Fertigung besteht häufig in der Weiterentwicklung von Werkzeugen und ihrer intelligenten Nutzung. Neu in hyperMILL® 2014.1: Verbesserungen für Reibahle, Tonnenfräser in verschiedenen Ausführungen und Linsenfräser. Hinzugekommen ist auch die Unterstützung von Messtastern. Mit dem dazugehörigen Zyklus 3D Punkt Messen können Qualitätssicherungsprozesse beschleunigt werden.
