Die OPEN MIND Technologies AG, einer der führenden Entwickler von CAM/CAD Software und Postprozessoren, stellt erstmals auf der Manufacturing Surabaya aus (11. bis 14. Juni 2014, in Surabaya, Ost-Java, Indonesien). Am Stand ihres lokalen Vertriebspartners PT Jaya Metal Teknika zeigt OPEN MIND Version 2014.1 der CAM-Lösung hyperMILL®.

Das CAM-System hyperMILL® ist das ideale Bindeglied zwischen Konstruktion und Fertigung. Seine Bearbeitungsstrategien reizen die Möglichkeiten moderner Bearbeitungszentren umfassend aus. OPEN MIND stellt in Surabaya mit dem hyperMILL® ShopViewer eine neue Visualisierungslösung für Maschinenbediener vor. Fertigungsabläufe lassen sich neben dem Fräszentrum am Monitor überprüfen und simulieren. Mit Anzeige, Analyse und Dokumentation von aufbereiteten CAD-/CAM-Daten in der Werkstatt verbessert hyperMILL® ShopViewer die Nachvollziehbarkeit des Fertigungsablaufs spürbar.

In hyperCAD®-S, dem CAD-Teil der CAM-Suite, gibt es weitere Neuerungen: Das Modul "Deformation" zur gezielten Verformung von Geometrien ist ein leistungsstarkes Änderungswerkzeug. Es erlaubt globale oder lokale Veränderungen von Bauteilbereichen, wie sie sonst nur mit aufwendigen Modellierungstechniken möglich wären.
