OPEN MIND Technologies AG, einer der führenden Entwickler von CAM/CAD Software und Postprozessoren, stellte auch dieses Jahr auf der "FMB - Zuliefermesse Maschinenbau" in Bad Salzuflen aus. Die Messe, in deren Einzugsbereich über 700 Maschinenbauunternehmen ansässig sind, war für OPEN MIND ein voller Erfolg: Kontaktpflege mit bestehenden Kunden und konkrete Geschäftsoptionen bei CNC-Anwendern, die man mit den Bearbeitungsstrategien von hyperMILL® überzeugen konnte.

Auf der FMB gab es für die Besucher am Stand von OPEN MIND erste Einblicke in hyperMILL® Version 2014.2. Vor allem hyperMAXX®, das Modul zum effizienten Schruppen, erhält Verbesserungen: Zum Beispiel sucht das High Performance Cutting Modul beim Eintauchen an bereits vorgebohrten Löchern automatisch die beste Startposition. Und für den Einsatz von Keramikfräsern oder bei der Bearbeitung sehr weicher Materialien kann jetzt die Gegenlaufbearbeitung ausgewählt werden.

"Wir stellen schon seit Jahren auf der FMB aus und jedes Jahr verzeichnen wir ein wachsendes Interesse an unseren CAM/CAD Lösungen. Die FMB ist für OPEN MIND ein sehr wichtiges Forum, um unsere Kunden und Interessenten aus der Region und dem Norden Deutschlands zu treffen", sagt Dirk Lehmann, Anwendungstechniker bei der OPEN MIND Technologies AG.
