Premiere in Stuttgart: hyperMILL® Version 2015.1

OPEN MIND präsentiert hyperMILL® auf Moulding Expo

CAM/CAD-Hersteller OPEN MIND Technologies AG stellt vom 5. bis zum 8. Mai 2015 auf der Moulding Expo aus (Stand 4-B 52, Messe Stuttgart). Erstmals wird die Version 2015.1 der CAM/CAD-Suite hyperMILL® auf der Messe für Werkzeug-, Modell- und Formenbau präsentiert. Neue Funktionen und Verbesserungen reduzieren Programmier- und Bearbeitungszeiten. Auch der integrierte CAD-Anteil der Suite erhielt Verbesserungen etwa in Form individualisierbarer Werkzeugleisten und der "Druckbox", einem Tool zur Erstellung von Fertigungsplänen.

Wichtigste Erweiterung bei den 5Achs-Bearbeitungsstrategien in hyperMILL® ist das 5Achs-helikale Bohren. Dabei handelt es sich um einen Fräsbohrzyklus mit helixförmigen Werkzeugbahnen. Das Werkzeug taucht schnell in das Material ein. Durch die 5achsige Anstellung des Fräsers ist eine effiziente und besonders werkzeugschonende Bearbeitung möglich.

hyperMILL® 2015.1 bringt außerdem drei neue Messzyklen für die prozessinterne Qualitätskontrolle mit.
