formnext powered by TCT will be taking place in Frankfurt, 14-17 November 2017, and once again it promises to be a highlight on the 3D printing and Additive Manufacturing (AM) calendar. Last year OR LASER chose formnext as the platform to introduce and launch its ORLAS CREATOR direct metal AM system to great acclaim. Since then, the company has taken an unprecedented number of orders and started shipping the ORLAS CREATOR. However, the company has continued to push the boundaries of its AM and industrial laser developments and formnext 2017 will once again be the launch pad for the results of that hard work.
Visitors to Formnext will be able to find OR LASER on stand C-20 within hall 3.0 at the Messe Frankfurt, where all of the company’s new industrial laser hardware platforms and services will be demonstrated in full, including the ORLAS CREATOR hybrid 3D printing and milling machine; the ORLAS CUBE and OR LASER’s new cloud manufacturing services.
The benefits of both additive manufacturing and subtractive manufacturing are well documented, and often these technologies are presented in terms that set them up as competitive with each other — an either/or choice. However, OR LASER is one company that believes in the power of both, particularly when used in combination within a single platform to offer a comprehensive manufacturing solution. The details and full launch of the ORLAS CREATOR hybrid will be made available at formnext.
OR Laser has also worked hard on developing the right operating ecosystem for the ORLAS CREATOR, and in 2017 this will see the introduction of dedicated cloud manufacturing capabilities, which will also be unveiled in full at formnext.
With a rich and impressive 20-year history of developing industrial laser processes and production of hardware using these processes, OR LASER will also introduce the ORLAS CUBE, a new addition to the company’s product line that offers an optimal solution for demanding laser material processing tasks. This platform offering is testament to OR LASER’s expertise and dedication to advanced manufacturing solutions and the ORLAS CUBE is sure to garner the attention of formnext visitors, particularly when lined up next to all of the other new developments.
A press conference will be held 16 November, Messe Frankfurt, Hall 3.0, Booth C-20 at 12.15pm.
