Fujitsu integriert Overlands Neo-Serie in Fujitsu Storage-Produktfamilie

Wie Overland Storage meldet, entschied sich die Fujitsu Storage System Division Japan für automatisierte Tape Librarys der Overland Neo-Serie als Speicherlösung für Fujitsu Serversysteme. Das Unternehmen wird die Overland Lösung Neo 2000 in der Konfiguration mit Bandlaufwerken vom Typ LTO Ultrium 1 einsetzen und unter dem Namen Eternus LT130 vertreiben.

"Wir suchten nach einer zuverlässigen, günstigen und skalierbaren Bandautomatisierungslösung", sagt Hotoshi Matsushima, General Manager von Fujitsus Storage System Division. "Overlands Neo-Serie erfüllte als einzige Lösung alle unsere Anforderungen. Wir wollen unseren Kunden die bestmögliche Lösung bieten. Dank Overlands preisgekrönter Neo-Serie sind wir dazu in der Lage."

Overlands Neo-Serie sorgt aufgrund unterbrechungsfreiem Betrieb für hohe Verfügbarkeit, schützt Investitionen dank SmartScale-Architektur und bietet für DAS- oder SAN-Umgebungen mittels Virtual-Interface-Architektur eine flexible Connectivity.
