Die Einführung einer zentralen Konfigurationssoftware unterstützt das erstmals beim Airbus A350 verfolgte modulare Auslegungskonzept, bei dem die Kunden ihre Kabinenausstattung aus einem umfangreichen Katalog zusammenstellen können. Durch eine intuitive Benutzeroberfläche, die die Auswahl geeigneter Ausstattungspakete grafisch unterstützt, eine Kompatibilitätsprüfung, die die technische Umsetzbarkeit der Konfiguration sicherstellt, sowie eine 3D-Visualisierung der Layouts in Echtzeit, die die qualitative Beurteilung der gewählten Optionen erleichtert, trägt die Software dazu bei, den gesamten Definitionsprozess erheblich zu beschleunigen.
