High Definition Videos haben ein fast 5fach höhere Auflösung als herkömmliche Videoaufnahmen in Standardauflösung. Mit der HDC-SD5 und dem VW-BN1 bietet Panasonic eine einzigartige Kombination aus Full-HD Camcorder und DVD-Brenner/Player zur Archivierung und Wiedergabe der High Definition Aufnahmen.
Der HDC-SD5 nimmt Full HD-Videos mit 1920 x 1080 Pixel auf SD Speicherkarten auf. Für kristallklare, brillante Aufnahmen sorgen das 3CCD Kamerasystem und das Leica Objektiv mit optischem Bildstabilisator (OIS plus). Mit dem VW-BN1 können Videofilmer einfach und direkt ihre High Definition Videos archivieren und wiedergeben. Der SD5 wird hierfür einfach per USB-Kabel mit dem BN1 verbunden und die Aufnahmen per Knopfdruck auf 12 cm DVD kopiert. Genauso einfach ist die Wiedergabe. Während der SD5 per USB-Kabel mit dem BN1 verbunden ist, wird der Camcorder zusätzlich an das TV-Gerät angeschlossen. Schon dient der BN1 als High Definition Player. Ein zusätzliches Abspielgerät ist nicht mehr notwendig.
Vom 15. November 2007 bis zum 14. Januar 2008 können sich Käufer der Kombination HDC-SD5EG-S/-K plus VW-BN1E-S online auf www.panasonic.de registrieren und dort ein Aktionsblatt erstellen. Dieses schicken sie zusammen mit Kopien der Kaufbelege und den Original-Balkencodes an Panasonic. – Und schon revanchiert sich das Unternehmen mit 100 Euro in Form eines Orderschecks.
