Enclosed you find some information concerning the machine which won the price:
The POWERLINE 3721 is a quality assurance systems designed for use on safety relevant seams. This machine is not just any innovation with a new design or new features, but a system which can save lives in case of an emergency. The 3721 sets new patterns regarding process reliability. It controls and documents the sewing process "stitch by stitch". An essential benefit of these systems is to guarantee constant seam quality This is important for product liability (e.g. when sewing side airbags) to counter and effectively refute any potential claims of recourse.
With the new 3721, PFAFF has developed a system for delicate materials made from leather and artificial leather for the first time.
