The Bavarian Ministry of Economics has sent a delegation of experts in solar energy, biogas and biofuel to Ethiopia in order to consult and support Ethiopian institutions responsible for the promotion of renewable energies. As an expert in Off-Grid solar systems, Phaesun-Managing Director Tobias Zwirner took part in this official visit to the cities of Addis Abeba and Mekelle teil.
The items on the agenda included various meetings with local institutions such as the Technical University of Mekelle, the Ethiopian Solar Association and the Ministry of Agriculture and Energy. The highlight of the trip was a big conference for Ethiopian entrepreneurs, private sector associations and public institutions in Addis Ababa .
