Hexapoden: Neue Möglichkeiten für die Automatisierung

Gewusst wie! Sechsachsige parallelkinematische Positioniersysteme können jetzt über Feldbusschnittstellen direkt mit übergeordneter SPS kommunizieren. Im Rahmen der 3. PI Akademie stellt Physik Instrumente (PI) in Karlsruhe Möglichkeiten vor, wie Anwender die Vorteile der Hexapoden in der industriellen Automatisierungstechnik nutzen können.

Dr. Christian Rudolf, Gruppenleiter der Hexapod-Entwicklung bei PI berichtet dazu über das neue modulare Hexapodkonzept. Kontaminationsbestimmung bei Wafer-Oberflächen mit TXRF (Totalreflexions-Röntgenfluoreszenzanalyse) und die Probenpositionierung mit dem Hexapod H-824 ist Thema des Vortrags von Dr. Uwe Metka von der Bruker AXS GmbH. Über benutzerdefinierbare Koordinatensysteme spricht Dr. Markus Frietsch, Entwicklungsingenieur Software bei PI. Christian Müllerleile, ebenfalls Entwicklungsingenieur Software erklärt die direkte Anbindung der Hexapoden an eine SPS.

Ergänzend zu den Vorträgen der Referenten, geben Firmenführungen und Live-Produktpräsentationen den Teilnehmern einen Einblick in die Praxis.

Die PI Akademie ist darüber hinaus eine gute Gelegenheit, mit Entwicklungs- und Applikationsingenieuren zu sprechen und Fragen speziell zu kundenspezifischen Anwendungen zu diskutieren.
