Physik Instrumente übernimmt Aktivitäten des IBS Ingenieurbüro

Die Physik Instrumente (PI) GmbH & Co. KG hat zum 1. Januar 2023 die 53 Ingenieure, Software-Spezialisten und weiteren Fachkräfte der insolventen Karlsruher IBS Ingenieurbüro Dr. Klaus Schnürer GmbH in einer neuen Gesellschaft übernommen.

„Wir erhöhen damit unsere Engineering-Kapazität auf einen Schlag um rund 55.000 Ingenieurstunden jährlich“, rechnet Markus Spanner, CEO der PI Gruppe vor. „Die Mitarbeitenden unterstützen PI mit ihrer Expertise in der Konstruktion von Produkten und Systemen, der Software-Entwicklung sowie der Simulation. Auch die weitere Automatisierung unserer eigenen Fertigung wird von dem Know-how der IBS Ingenieure profitieren.“  

Die IBS Ingenieurbüro Dr. Klaus Schnürer GmbH ist auf die Entwicklung und Realisierung von Automatisierungsprojekten hauptsächlich für die Automobilindustrie spezialisiert und musste im Laufe des Jahres 2022 Insolvenz anmelden. Die neue Gesellschaft wird auch das bestehende Geschäft mit den bisherigen Kunden weiterführen.

„Die zusätzlichen Fachkräfte werden uns helfen, unsere Kapazitäten schneller zu steigern und die ungebrochene Nachfrage unserer Kunden nach Lösungen für die Präzisionspositionierung besser zu erfüllen“, betont Markus Spanner.
