ACS Motion Control hat mit dem Smart Motion Commander eine flexibel anpassbare und benutzerfreundliche CNC-/HMI-Software-Plattform für Hochpräzisionsbearbeitungen entwickelt, die SPiiPlus EtherCAT® basierte Motion-Controller auf das Niveau einer CNC-Steuerung bringt. Das reduziert den Aufwand für die Entwicklung und Wartung einer Benutzeroberfläche. „Stattdessen kann sich der Maschinenbauer auf die Optimierung der Anwendung und der Maschinenleistung konzentrieren. Dadurch wird die Produkteinführungszeit verkürzt und die Genauigkeit, Präzision sowie der Durchsatz der Maschine erhöht“, erläutert Jason Goerges, Produktmarketing-Manager bei ACS.

OEMs und Systemintegratoren haben mit dem Smart Motion Commander eine ideale Lösung für unterschiedliche Anwendungen in der hochpräzisen Materialbearbeitung, wie z.B. dem Laserschneiden, Präzisionsschleifen, der additiven Fertigung, der Mikrobearbeitung oder Ähnlichem. Die Software ist auf minimalen Ressourcenverbrauch optimiert und läuft auf allen PCs mit Windows 7/8/10 bzw. XP mit SP3. Kundenspezifische Anpassungen können entweder von ACS und dessen Partnern zur Verfügung gestellt oder vom Anwender selbst über einen Plug-In-Mechanismus entwickelt werden.
