Den Grund hierfür sieht Plath Eft- Geschäftsführer Matthias Holsten in der von ihm betriebenen Nischenpolitik. Die Klientel, die das Unternehmen bedient, setzt auf die Beratungs- und Fertigungskompetenz im Kleinserienund Prototypenbau, vornehmlich für die Wehrtechnik und Luftfahrtindustrie. Inzwischen gibt es mehrere Flugzeughersteller der größeren Kategorie, für die Plath Eft hochsensible Leiterplatten liefert. "An die kleineren diffizil zu fertigenden Stückzahlen geht kaum ein standardisierter Fertigungsdienstleister ran. Dort regiert das preisruinöse Mengengeschäft. Bei unserer Arbeit wird vorausschauendes Mitdenken bezahlt - und mit besserer Wertschöpfung honoriert," so Holsten.
So ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass der Geschäftsführer sein ganzes Augenmerk auf die Qualifikation seines um fast 100 Prozent erweiterten Teams legt: "Das Wachstum der Belegschaft auf nunmehr 62 qualifizierte Fachkräfte ist erfreulich. Damit einher geht unser stetes Bemühen, das fachlich ohnehin schon hohe Niveau weiter nach oben zu bringen. Unser Bedarf nach guten Mitarbeitern ist noch nicht gestillt."
Auch für das Geschäftsjahr 2009 wächst der auf High-tech spezialisierte Betrieb nach dessen Angaben gegen den Trend der Mitbewerber - mit einer gesunden Perspektive von nochmals 25 Prozent zum Vorjahr, auf € 7,0 Mio.
