Internationaler Workshop des Netzwerkprojekts OSMOSIS

Die Sicherheitsbranche ist in den letzten Jahrzehnten enorm gewachsen. In Rom findet am 15. Juni 2011 ein Workshop zu Fördermöglichkeiten statt.

Eine breitere Produktpalette, ein größeres Angebot an Dienstleistungen und verstärkte Forschungsaktivitäten lassen den Sicherheitsmarkt boomen. Und auch die Nachfrage steigt vom Schutz kritischer Infrastruktur bis zum Absichern riesiger Veranstaltungen stetig. Großunternehmen sind bereits im Markt etabliert, wohingegen kleine und mittlere Unternehmen immer noch mit Markthindernissen zu kämpfen haben.

Das von PNO koordinierte Netzwerkprojekt OSMOSIS hilft KMU, die noch vorhandenen Hindernisse entlang der Wertschöpfungsklette im Sicherheitsmarkt zu überwinden und die Zusammenarbeit mit Großunternehmen zu forcieren. Das OSMOSIS-Konsortium besteht aus Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtungen, wie beispielsweise CiaoTech, SESM, GMVIS, die Fakultät für Informations- und Systemtechnik der Universität Neapel, die Fakultät für Informatik der Technischen Universität München, Honeywell, das Spanisches Nationale Institut für Raumfahrttechnologie und ELSAG Datamat.

Nach mehreren Online-Seminaren findet am 15. Juni 2011 nun der erste internationale Workshop zum Thema „Trends and R&D opportunities for the security technology supply chain” in Rom statt. Zahlreiche internationale Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtungen werden erwartet. Die Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung ist kostenfrei.
