Power supply specialist powerSelect recently received a rather unusual request: a well-known truck manufacturer was desperately seeking a solution that allowed him to operate the on-board electronics of his vehicles during repairs without needing to rely on battery power. After all, the battery may be part of the problem or just not available. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a suitable power supply on the market, and a new product development would have been too costly.

They installed an off-the-shelf power supply unit in a mobile casing that meets customer specifications, thus creating a mobile, 500-watt power supply with 24V output voltage. The power supply meets all relevant EMV and safety standards and is CE certified.
