Zwar erst 1994 gegründet, basiert das Know-How von APB DynaSonics auf jahrzehntelanger Erfahrung der Firmengründer in der Entwicklung analoger Mischpulte. Alle drei Gründer und Inhaber der Firma, Chuck Augustowski, John Petrucelli und Taz Bhogal zählen zu den meisterfahrenen Mischpultentwicklern namhafter Pro Audio Hersteller und haben sich mit der Selbständigkeit einen Traum erfüllt.
Bereits heute stellt APB DynaSonics eine Reihe von VCA-Mischpulten her, 19“-Rackmischpulte, eine Umschalt- und Regeleinheit für mehrere Mischpulte zur PA, Rackmischer mit einer und zwei Höheneinheiten, und eine 4- und eine 8-Buss-Konsole unter der Serienbezeichnung ProDesk 4 und ProDesk 8.
Das Spitzenprodukt der Firma ist die VCA-Konsole der Spectra-Serie, die über bis zu 56 Monoeingänge und 4 zusätzliche Stereo-Line-Eingänge verfügt, sowie über einen optionalen 24-Kanal-Mono-Eingangsexpander. Die weiteren Produkte von APB DynaSonics sind von diesem Produkt abgeleitet.
Alle Produkte sind in analoger Audiotechnik hergestellt , auf die APB DynaSonics nach wie vor vertraut. Der Werbeslogan der Firma „Art of the Analog Console“ drückt dies aus. Mit allen Produkten hat APB DynaSonics an sich den Anspruch gestellt, absolute Spitzentechnik zu produzieren. Dies reflektieren auch die technischen Daten.
