Bernd Wenning wird neuer Geschäftsführer bei Watermark Germany

Bernd Wenning (47) wird zum 1. Juli 2003 neuer Geschäftsführer von Watermark in Deutschland. Er ist seit mehr als 15 Jahren im IT-Business tätig und verfügt über umfangreiche Erfahrungen im Management, Marketing und Vertrieb. Zu seinen beruflichen Stationen zählen Bull, Baan, Vignette sowie die Software AG. Bei der Software AG leitete Wenning zuletzt die Niederlassung Düsseldorf mit Personal- und Ergebnisverantwortung. Bei Watermark wird er für das Geschäftsergebnis eines 80-köpfigen Teams verantwortlich sein. Zu seinen primären Aufgaben zählen die Stärkung des Vertriebs, die Sicherung eines nachhaltigen Wachstums auch über strategische Akquisitionen und die weitere Verbesserung der Rentabilität.

„Mit Bernd Wenning haben wir einen Manager gefunden, der über ausgezeichnete Kenntnisse und Kontakte im IT-Umfeld verfügt. Durch sein langjähriges Vertriebs-Know-how wird er uns als systemunabhängigen Lösungsanbieter im Markt verstärkt profilieren. Mit seiner Unterstützung wollen wir neue Märkte erschließen und mehr international operierende Kunden gewinnen", sagt Wim Heijting, Chief Executive Officer der Watermark Holding in den Niederlanden. Stefan Kurbadt, der sechs Jahre als Geschäftsführer der Watermark Germany tätig war, wird das Unternehmen auf eigenen Wunsch verlassen, um sich anderen beruflichen Herausforderungen zu stellen.
