Van Voorthuijsen neuer President von Watermark Europe

Watermark Europe hat Joop van Voorthuijsen, Mitglied des Managementboards von Watermark sowie Geschäftsführer von Watermark Niederlande, zum President ernannt. Van Voorthuijsen hat mit der niederländischen Landesgesellschaft im letzten Jahr große Erfolge erzielt, der Umsatz stieg im letzten Jahr um 40%. Watermark ist damit der größte Microsoft Business Solutions Partner in den Niederlanden und bietet Lösungen auf Basis von Microsoft Business Solutions-Axapta und -Navision an. Watermark verfolgt eine Strategie mit Branchenlösungen und Standard-Add-ons, die den Anpassungs­aufwand beim Kunden und damit die Total Cost of Ownership reduzieren.

Van Voorthuijsen wird in seiner neuen Aufgabe auch die Verantwortung für die Entwicklung weiterer Branchenlösungen übernehmen sowie die Expansion von Watermark in anderen europäischen Ländern vorantreiben. Insbesondere sollen für Zusatzapplikationen von Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision indirekte Vertriebskanäle in mehreren Ländern neu aufgebaut werden.

Des Weiteren wird van Voorthuijsen, der seinen neuen Job offiziell zum 16. Februar 2004 antritt, die Verantwortung für den Support internationaler Kunden übertragen. Seinen Posten als Geschäftsführer von Watermark Niederlande übernimmt Ernst Jilderda (52), der früher in Management-Positionen bei Augeo, Baan und Bull tätig war und über jahrelange Erfahrungen im IT-Business verfügt.

Watermark hat sich auf die Implementierung von ERP-, SCM- und CRM-Lösungen von Anbietern wie Microsoft Business Solutions und Infor fokussiert und gehört zu deren favorisierten Business-Partnern. In den letzten fünf Jahren haben hochqualifizierte Berater mehr als 1.200 Projekte in Europa durchgeführt. Mit WaterProof wird dafür eine standardisierte Implementierungsmethode genutzt. Watermark besitzt mit 19 Geschäftsstellen in 9 europäischen Ländern sowie weltweit operierenden Partnerunternehmen der Watermark Global Alliance eine bedeutende internationale Präsenz. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt ca. 700 Mitarbeiter nach erfolgter Fusion mit Qurius. Der Geschäftssitz befindet sich in Veenendaal, Niederlande.
