Die Watermark Holding B.V. und Profuse B.V., der größte Service-Provider in den Niederlanden arbeiten im Baan-Umfeld zukünftig zusammen. Mit der Partnerschaft kann Watermark seinen bestehenden und neuen Baan-Kunden umfassendere Dienstleistungen anbieten. Das gilt insbesondere für Migrationen auf das Nachfolgeprodukt von Baan IV und Baan V mit Namen Gemini, das für Ende des Jahres angekündigt wurde. Die Nachricht über den Eigentümerwechsel bei Baan ist von Watermark positiv aufgenommen worden, erlaubt diese die unveränderte Fortführung des bisherigen Geschäftes bei der installierten Basis von weltweit 650 Kunden. Watermark und Profuse sind übereingekommen, ein umfassendes Lösungsportfolio anzubieten, das auf niedrigere Kosten für den Betrieb der Baan-Applikationen sowie für Upgrades, Service-Packs und Migrationen abzielt. Des Weiteren sollen mit der Software Verbesserungen der Unternehmensergebnisse erreicht werden.
