The quality of water will be crucial in the Aquatic Centre in London from 27 July to 12 August asthis is where the winners of the Olympic swimming, diving and synchronised swimming competitions, as well as the swimming part of the modern pentathlon will be decided. A fundamental prerequisite for the athletes' elite performance will be the maintaining of optimum water conditions in compliance with the exacting quality guidelines laid down by the Governing Body of National Swimming Clubs.
