Multi-parameter measuring equipment from the DULCOMARIN® II product range and amperometric sensors, in conjunction with diaphragm metering pumps of the delta type, are used to maintain the high quality of water in the training and competition pools. Sensors of the DULCOTEST® type continuously and reproducibly record all the relevant water parameters in minimal concentrations.
The Heidelberg-based company has been involved for decades in the treatment of competition water at the Olympic Games, starting with Munich in 1972, followed by Seoul in 1988, Barcelona in 1992, Sydney in 2000 and Athens in 2004. ProMinent's tailor-made products were also used for water treatment in the Beijing Olympic Games where seven ozone generation systems from the Bono Zon® product range ensured the requisite water purity in the "Water Cube" and Yingdong aquatic centres.
