A particular highlight at this year's BRAU Beviale will be the electrolysis system Dulco®Lyse, enabling low-chloride, electrochemically activated water (ECA water) to be economically generated on site from water, sodium chloride and electricity. The extremely low chloride content is significantly below the level of comparable processes that often contain more than 20 times as much chloride. These minimal chloride concentrations mean that corrosion is reliably prevented and considerable cost savings can be made due to the low consumption of energy and salt and, where possible, no preservatives are used in beverage manufacturing processes.
Economical and environmentally friendly disinfection
The quality of brewing water is a crucial factor in brewing, as a virtually identical composition of brewing water guarantees a consistent quality of beer. Brewery standards are generally far higher than the statutory provisions of the German Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV). To guarantee this, ProMaqua has developed a complete water treatment and reverse osmosis station to treat and desalinate the raw water accordingly. The reverse osmosis membranes separate all organic and inorganic substances from the water and reliably retain them, thereby producing environmentally-friendly, economical and sustainably generated brewing water with a constant quality. With a consistent residual alkalinity and conductivity, the nitrate concentrations or residue of plant protection agents for instance, are far below the provisions of the German Drinking Water Ordinance.
Precise metering
With compact, ready-wired metering stations, the Heidelberg-based manufacturer will be showing how the precise quantity of disinfectants or additives, such as lactic acid, is used that is needed. Visitors to Brau Beviale will be able to see the simple construction and function of the compact stations, equipped with a diaphragm metering pump delta® with a regulated solenoid drive optoDrive® and a motor-driven metering pump Sigma.
Smart Disinfection independent of the technology
ProMaqua will only be exhibiting a small section of its entire product range at the leading trade fair for raw materials, technologies, logistics and marketing ideas for the beverage industry. Visitors can see for themselves from 9 to 11 November on Stand 306-308 in Hall 4 how complex disinfection tasks in the beverage industry can be performed independently of the technology: with Smart Disinfection - environmentally-friendly, economically and sustainably.
