Due to 2020 not being a year of celebrations, proMX had to change or postpone many of its plans for customers, partners and employees. The company instead launched its first fully-digital event “Zeit für digitalen Wandel.”

From systems integrator to digitalization partner
On 13 December, 2000 Peter Linke, Georg Schmidt and Thomas Dorn founded proMX as a company for system integration and software development. Its focus was on the Microsoft Exchange server and on developing message-exchange software. The name “proMX” is an acronym of “professional message exchange.”
When Microsoft CRM was introduced to the market in 2003, proMX spotted an opportunity to grow its business and took it. With the release of Microsoft CRM 3.0, it was possible to develop custom apps for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, which opened up a whole new market for proMX to position itself on. Right from the start, proMX realized its idea of offering its own project management solution, which has turned into a cloud solution for Dynamics 365 and is still being developed today.
With its vast knowledge of business solutions, modern workplaces and the Internet of Things (IoT), proMX takes a holistic approach to supporting its customers and their digitalization projects.
