Die beiden Luxus-Mobiltelefone „Ascent“ von Vertu und „Serene“ von Bang & Olufsen (B&O), die als Zielgruppe vor allem das gehobene Klientel im Fokus haben, werden Ende Februar von dem renommierten ProtectStar-Testcenter auf deren Funktions- und Sicherheitsniveau hin überprüft.
Das Unternehmen Vertu – ein Tochterunternehmen von Nokia stellt bereits seit geraumer Zeit edle Mobiltelefone her, während das Mobiltelefon „Serene“ eine Gemeinschaftsproduktion von Bang & Olufsen und Samsung und neu auf dem Mobilfunkmarkt erschienen ist.
Ob die technischen Funktionalitäten dem edlen optischen Design gerecht werden können, wird sich nach den Testsreihen zeigen.
Es ist geplant, die Testergebnisse noch im März – vor dem Start der diesjährigen CeBit – zu veröffentlichen.
