At HANNOVER MESSE 2013 PRÜFTECHNIK Alignment Systems presented its new product portfolio under the motto "The winning team". Highlights include the new OPTALIGN smart RS alignment system, which uses an exclusive measuring principle based on the single-laser technology and a 5-axis sensor. The sensor contains an electronic inclinometer and two position-sensitive detectors, which measure the exact position and direction of the laser beam during shaft rotation.
In addition to the high-tech sensor technology, the system also features many advanced functions for the alignment of horizontal, vertical and flange-mounted machines. The "Concurrent Live Mode" ensures that the machine movement is monitored simultaneously in both horizontal and vertical directions, with the laser and sensor positioned at any angle on the shaft.
