Neue Open-Linux-Firmware für ICY BOX IB-NAS4220-B und IB-NAS4210

Ab sofort gibt es für die ICY BOX IB-NAS4220-B und IB-NAS4210-B eine neue offene Linux-Firmware (Version Nr. 2.6.3.2 bzw. Version Nr. 2.6.3.1). Dies ist das erste Update seit dem letzten offiziellen Release vom November 2008.

Die neue Firmware sorgt vor allem dafür, dass die Samba-Datenbank bei einer bestimmten Größe automatisch geleert wird. Diese Vorsichtsmaßnahme kann Systemabstürze verhindern.

Weitere Anpassungen:
- Es gibt jetzt einen SSH Server.
- Alle Systemnachrichten werden jetzt auch während des Startvorgangs im Terminal angezeigt.
- Die Unterstützung für Safari 3.2.1 ist verbessert worden und
- die Kompatibilität mit der neuesten iTunes-Version (8.1.1) ist gegeben.
- 2 TB Support

Diese Firmware steht ab sofort auf der Website von RaidSonic zur Verfügung.
