Open Linux - New Firmware for ICY BOX IB-NAS4220

Hard-drive Compatability Improved

The new firmware version 2.6.3.1 – open Linux - for the NAS4220 is out. It’s available from the RaidSonic website - http://www.raidsonic.de/.... The advantages of the new firmware show when you use new hard disks with huge storage capacity.

Improvements:
1. Hard-drive compatibility improved. Problems which appeared with 1.0 and 1.5 TB drives have been solved.
2. SSH server app. now can be installed and used in JBOD mode again. Naming of hard drive has been corrected.
3. Product name on the administration surface has been changed, from IB-NAS4200-B to IB-NAS4220-B.
4. New version info has been installed for better communication.
5. Firmware has been opened for the development of new and the use of existing applications.
