Ranpak Holdings Corp. (“Ranpak”) (NYSE: PACK), a global leader of sustainable paper-based packaging solutions for e-commerce and industrial supply chains, reported it will be bringing new automated end-of-line (EOL) solutions to LogiMAT 2025, scheduled for 11-13 March at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre. Ranpak will exhibit in Hall 5 at Stand 5A61.

With more than 50 years of experience in sustainable paper packaging technology, Ranpak has developed a comprehensive portfolio of solutions spanning packaging converters, semi-automated solutions, and fully automated end-of-line systems. Full-color box printing unlocks a new dimension of personalization when paired with automated height-reduction and box closing.

Ranpak’s booth will feature the new Print’it!™ in-line printing solution, which allows full-color customized designs to be printed on up to 15 boxes of varying heights per minute. This solution unlocks both branding and personalization within a flow that includes height-reduction and box closing from Ranpak’s Cut’it! ™ EVO, making it perfect for e-commerce. The ability to support separate branding for individual packages on a single line is also an ideal match for third-party logistics providers (3PLs) Print’it!™ provides peak efficiency and personalization opportunities allowing operators to manage multiple brands or even to surprise and delight end-customers with individualized messages. The solution removes the need for multiple SKUs of printed boxes while enabling downstream box customization and branding within a standardized automation setup, where packaging is right-sized, a lid is applied, and unique designs are printed in a no-touch process. The Print’it!™ allows custom printing on boxes of varying heights as well, a unique capability in the market.

Automated pad insertion adds critical protection for the top and/or bottom of packages.

Flat-bottom drops are some of the most devastating and common ways that package contents become damaged in transit. Ranpak’s Pad’it!™ automated cushion insertion solution solves this problem by inserting a curbside-recyclable paper pad into boxes as part of an automated packaging line. The Pad’it!™ can apply cushioning pads to either the top or bottom of a box, or both, to provide even more cushioning. This solution expands Ranpak Automation’s capabilities when optimizing end-of-line setups for customers, allowing an extra degree of protection to be allocated to packaging lines handling fragile or high-value items.

Ranpak’s data suite and computer vision solutions further complement its packaging technologies.

Also on site, Ranpak’s DecisionTower™ provides computer vision capable of performing quality assurance for the packaging line, rerouting mispacked boxes to a manual triage lane before they can cause downstream issues leading to lost productivity. Ranpak experts will discuss the applications of vision and quality assurance systems for improving manual pack stations and how systems like DecisionTower™ can provide additional value for applications beyond quality control, such as void measurement.

The Print’it!™, Pad’it!™, and DecisionTower™ solutions will be showcased alongside the flagship Cut’it!™ EVO automated height-reduction and box closing machine as well as the Flap’it!™ solution for rigid-mailer automation. Each of these machines are a powerful modular addition to a packaging line, but when they’re positioned together, the path to ROI is expedited and multi-dimensional. Attendees at LogiMAT will observe demonstrations to learn how each machine works as an individual solution, as well as the added benefits of how they work together.
