Radient bietet Anschlussmöglichkeit für 2 Camera-Link Base Kameras bzw. für 1 Camera-Link Full Kamera. Für Multi-Kamera Applikationen lässt sich das Grab-Interface erweitern und optional bis zu 4 CL Base oder 2 CL Full Kameras an den Framegrabber anschließen.
FPGA Vorverarbeitung
Häufig benötigte Vorverarbeitungsfunktionen in Anwendungen mit hohen Datenmengen belasten die Host-CPU zu stark und müssen hier auf den Framegrabber ausgelagert werden. Bereits während der Bilderfassung übernimmt der Altera Stratix III Processing FPGA auf Radient die Bildvorverarbeitung in Echtzeit.
Gängige Standardfunktionen wie örtliches und zeitliches Filtern, Gain und Offset (Shading), Hot-Pixel Korrektur, geometrische Transformationen für Perspektive und Objektivverzeichnung, Bayer Interpolation u.a. sind bereits im FPGA vorhanden und können über MIL angesprochen werden.
Mit dem Matrox FPGA-Design-Service ist die Anpassung an Kundenwünsche einfach und kostengünstig zu realisieren.
