Es ist ein Liebhaberstück wie aus dem Bilderbuch: Seit Herbst vergangenen Jahres haben Schülerinnen und Schüler der Berufsbildenden Schule 6 einen Porsche-Diesel-Trecker aus dem Jahr 1958 wieder in Schuss gebracht. Aus dem Fundstück, das die letzten Jahre in einer Scheune verbracht hatte, ist ein Glanzstück geworden.

übergibt Schulleiter Michael Sternberg im Beisein von Kultusminister Bernd Althusmann und Regionspräsident Hauke Jagau das runderneuerte Fahrzeug wieder dem Besitzer, Jürgen Oelkers vom Verein Porsche-Diesel-Club Europa.

Zuvor berichten Schülerinnen und Schüler der Berufsfachschule Kraftfahrzeugmechatronik über ihre Arbeiten am Trecker. Harald Stegen, Vorsitzender des Vereins "Projekt Porsche Diesel", erläutert die Ziele des Projekts.
