Breitbandausbau: Erster Spatenstich in Neustadt-Hagen

In 13 Kommunen beginnen die Tiefbauarbeiten / Fertigstellung bis Ende 2018

Die Feinplanung zur Erschließung der letzten so genannten „weißen Flecken“ im Regionsgebiet ist abgeschlossen. Für die Telekom Deutschland und für Northern Access gab es dafür von den Fördermittelgebern Bund und Land Niedersachsen grünes Licht. Jetzt beginnen die Tiefbauarbeiten in insgesamt 13 Kommunen. Den ersten Spatenstich nehmen am

Wirtschaftsdezernent Ulf-Birger Franz, Neustadts Erster Stadtrat Maic Schillack, Thomas Krieger von Telekom Deutschland und Torsten Voigts von Northern Access im Beisein der Fördermittelgeber von Bund und Land Niedersachsen vor. Neustadt am Rübenberge ist die erste Stadt und zugleich das größte bislang unterversorgte Gebiet in der Region Hannover, in der der Tiefbau beginnt. In weiteren 12 Kommunen startet der Tiefbau im März bzw. April. Bis Ende 2018 sind dann alle „weißen Flecken“ im Regionsgebiet mit leistungsfähigen Breitbandanschlüssen versorgt.
